The Clyde Killens’ House - originally built as a gas station in 1925, remodeled in 1941 to include a second-story addition and residence to legendary Clyde Killen a local musician, club owner and promoter. The "X-Ray Clinic - constructed by Dr. Samuel H. Johnson (the first black radiologist in Florida) serviced the Overtown community from 1939 - 1967 (Historical Site designation 1984) (text source; UM Office of Civic and Community Engagement and The City of Miami Historic Preservation Department).
