The series is based on the ideas of architecture as historical monuments. Referencing forms from Ancient Roman arches and Egyptian pyramids in conversation with the abandoned structures of today. The work serves as a symbolic gateway to bygone eras, inviting the viewers to transverse the corridors of time and connect with cultural and historical legacies embedded within the material. The title (710 FORT ) is the physical address of my grandmother's home. Now boarded and transitioning with the neighborhood, the structure holds generations of my family's memories.
