APOLLO was inspired by the archaeological dig site images of The Temple of Apollo, Bassae and Delphi in Greece. The site is referenced in Vincent Scully's' book titled, The Earth, The Temple, and The Gods (1962). The concrete portion of the work was cast from a discarded plastic card table in 2020. The piece was partially destroyed then reconstructed over a 4-year time period.
