APOLLO was inspired by archaeological dig site images of the Temple of Apollo, Bassae and Delphi in Greece referenced in Vincent Scullys' book The Earth,The Temple, and The Gods (1962).
The concrete portion of the work was cast from a discarded plastic card table in 2020. The concrete was partially destroyed then reconstructed over a 4 year time span.
