 SPORE, Simmons revisits his research on organic plant growth, microbiomes, cellular structures, and the parallels found within structural architecture. The work conceptualizes distant futures, where hybridized organic forms evolve into unrecognizable species, materializing on scales that defy and challenge contemporary thought. The biomorphic structure possess traits that reflect the raw yet poetic potential of life, revealing an emotional depth embedded within the seemingly mundane objects that define our environment. 
SPORE invites viewers to engage in the genesis of its form. Its gravity-defying curves and mirrored surfaces provoke introspection, as distorted reflections challenge the viewer’s understanding of self within the work’s organic yet calculated geometry. Along with self-reflection, SPORE presents a delicate equation as to what is man-made and what could be naturally occurring in our everyday environment.
